Gun model: Syren Tempio Trap 12g Combo. The adjustable comb comes standard to the Trap Stock but I added a soft comb. Also an adjustable butt plate and a DTS Kinetic Balancer recoil reducer.

I am currently attending the University of Tennessee at Martin and majoring in natural resource management with a concentration in wildlife biology. In the future, I hope to work with young shooters and the outdoors together. My father is an avid outdoorsman and has shared his love of the outdoors with me from an early age. I started dove hunting with him in kindergarten but was only allowed to watch. After completing my hunter safety course, I started really enjoying the dove field and found that I enjoyed shooting. I began competitive shooting my freshman year of high school and shortly after, my dad began coaching. Nowadays, my life revolves around good grades and guns! In my free time, I enjoy getting to travel with my dad to shoots and competing.

What’s your advice on getting new lady shooters involved?

Make connections and be friendly with the people you shoot against in order to make those connections. The shooting community is very supportive and will become your friends on and off the field!

What knowledge can you share that would make ladies better shooters?

Practice, practice and more practice. Always have a goal in mind to better yourself! No matter how big or small it may be, it will help you to stay determined and motivated. A gun can always be modified for improvements.
