SUMMARY:HerUpland Wingshooting Clinic 2023
DESCRIPTION:NOTE: You MUST be registered to attend this event. Syren demos will be available at this event and shooting instruction provided by Syren’s Grace Callahan (Master class shooter and NSCA Certified Instructor). \nShooters of all levels are invited: Gentleman welcome\, Women and Youth Encouraged! \nYouth (10 years or older)\, women\, and men are invited to participate in a weekend long wingshooting clinic on April 21 – 23\, 2023 Halter Shooting Sports Education Center in Hillsdale\, MI. \nThe clinic is hosted by HerUpland and The Ruffed Grouse Society/American Woodcock Society. \nCheck-in will begin on Friday\, April 21 at 5pm at Hillsdale Brewing Co. The clinic will begin at 8:00am Saturday morning and end 5pm Sunday afternoon. Instruction during the wingshooting clinic will be provided by National Sporting Clays Association certified instructors. Participants will learn to safely handle and fire a shotgun\, as well as practice the fundamentals of wingshooting. \nEach participant will have eight hours of shooting instruction (4 hours each day) in groups no larger than four. Eight hours of skills seminars and demonstrations will be provided both days when you’re not shooting\, these will include: shotgun patterning\, navigation\, bird dog demonstrations\, basics of upland hunting in Michigan\, local habitat observation and identification\, gamebird cooking. \nRegistration is $250 per participant\, 4 youth scholarships available. \nContact Team@HerUpland.com with any questions.
